Aunjanue Ellis
Aunjanue Taylor is an American actress and producer best known for the roles she performed on the television series Ray Undercover Brother, The Mentalist as well as the TV series The Mentalist. She received an undergraduate degree in African-American Studies at Brown University, and a Master in Fine Arts in Acting from the Tisch School of the Arts at New York University. Aunjanue was born in the United States and is an American actress also known as producer and director. She has worked in both film and television. Her stage debut was in the year 2000 before appearing in mainstream, independent and TV series. She was known for appearing in the role of Miranda Shaw (ABC's Quantico) and on BET's huge The Book of Negroes. The two series garnered critical acclaim, but she also won a lot of accolades. Her professional acting d but was as Ariel as Ariel, The Tempest. In addition to Broadway's Come and Gone, she has also been featured in Drowning Crow and Seeking the Genesis. When it comes to film, she is best known for her performances in films like Men of Honor The Caveman's Valentine The Express and The Help.
