Aspen Ladd
Aspen Ladd began her journey to combat sports at teenager age. She began training in kickboxing boxing BJJ and wrestling before making her first amateur appearance at 18, at WCFC against Jaimee Nievera. Ladd took advantage of this win and continued her three-fight win streak in Ultimate Reno Combat finishing her opponents in the opening round in all the fights. She then returned to WCFC in which she beat Leslie Rodriguez by unanimous decision. Aspen defeated Silvia Babaeghian and Maddy Simmons before fighting Cynthia Calvillo at WCFC 9. Cynthia was superior to Aspen as she beat her in a unanimously voted victory. Cynthia's records as an amateur were destroyed. Ladd recovered from the loss and defeated Roma Pawelek at Tuff-N-Uff to take her record to 8-1. Aspen began her professional career in the year 2015. Aspen signed with Invicta FC and made her debut. Invicta 11 saw her take on Ana Carolina Vidal to score a TKO in the first round. She won her next fight against Amanda Cooper via second-round armbar submission. Aspen then fought at bantamweight to fight at Invicta FC 16. Aspen used her superior wrestler skills to knock down McGill and ended her fight via the third round TKO(elbows as well as punches). Aspen had to face Jessica Hoy, at Invicta FC 18. Aspen fought Hoy using her catchweight (138.1lb) as Ladd didn't make weight. Aspen still dominated Hoy up to the point where she defeated her via a TKO. In her last bout for this promotion, Ladd defeated Sijara Ebanks with a unanimous win in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd made her UFC debut in UFC Fight Night 118 with Lina Lansberg. She beat Lina with a ground and pound win in her second fight. She came back to her winning ways and picked up a more impressive win in her next bout against Tonya Evinger. The fight was at UFC 229. Ladd defeated Evinger within the first minute and was awarded the night's prize. Her first major fight in The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos Vs. Lee rematch against Sijara Ebanks. Both the fighters put on an exchange of blows that culminated with Ladd taking a unanimous win and both fighters getting one of the Fight of the Night bonus. Ladd's first loss came in her next fight against Germaine de Randamie in Ladd's first UFC main event fight. Randamie beat Ladd within 16 seconds and ended her win streak. Following a brief break after which she returned to beat Yana Kunizkaya of the UFC in their ESPN 7 third-round fight. In her recent fight for the UFC she was a part of Norma Dumont at UFC Fight Night 195 as a replacement fight. She was defeated by a unanimous decision.
