In addition, she appeared in Francis Ford Coppola's film Youth Without Youth. In 2008, Marinca played Yasim in the BBC's five-episode The Last Enemy. Marinca had roles in Oliver Hirschbiegel's Five Minutes of Heaven as well as the Romanian Drama Boogie. In the following year, she was an important role in 2014's Fury where she played Irma who was the German Aunt of Emma.
